2009 Cheese Rolling Festival

Here are some photos I took of the 2009 Cheese Rolling Festival in Whistler. It was a fun event, you see people running downhill trying to win a block of cheese. Whoever goes downhill first wins the cheese that was rolled downhill. The cheese of course is wrapped. Here are some photos of the contestants. It's funny how their helmets are designed to look like a brain. This guy was trying to win best in costume. Hairy isn't it. Here's the men's semi-finals. You can see someone getting hurt. Here's the photo of the guy that hurt his ankle. Ouch! They'll do anything for cheese!
